Step 2: Click on the “My Aadhaar” tab, and then select the “Update Your Aadhaar” option.

Step 3: On the next page, click on the “Update your Address Online” option.

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code, and click on the “Send OTP” button. You will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.

Step 5: Enter the OTP and click on the “Login” button.

Step 6: On the next page, select the option “Name” and tick the box next to “My father/mother/spouse name needs to be updated.”

Step 7: Fill in the new name of the father in the given fields and click on the “Submit” button.

Step 8: Upload the supporting documents as proof of the new name of the father. The accepted documents include the passport, voter ID, PAN card, or a government-issued certificate. The size of the supporting documents should be less than 2 MB.

Step 9: After uploading the documents, select the BPO service provider and click on the “Submit” button.

Step 10: You will receive an Acknowledgment slip containing the URN (Update Request Number) that you can use to track the status of the update.

Note: The updated Aadhaar card will be sent to the registered address via post within a few weeks.
