An Importer Exporter Code (IEC) is a unique 10-digit code allotted to a person or a business entity by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). Steps to Update IEC Code Online:

On the next page, you will be required to enter your IEC code, PAN number, and email ID. After entering the details, click on the “Submit” button.

Step 3: Select the type of modification

After submitting the details, you will be redirected to the next page. Here, you will be required to select the type of modification you want to make from the given options. You can choose from the following options:

  • Modification in PAN details
  • Modification in IEC details
  • Modification in branch details

Select the appropriate option based on the modification you want to make.

Step 4: Upload the required documents

Once you have selected the type of modification, you will be required to upload the supporting documents. The documents required will vary based on the type of modification you want to make.
