Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java and React
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure code quality
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues for system stability and performance
  • Support production environments, monitoring and resolving issues
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies to enhance development processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project scope and timelines
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies
  • Contribute to code reviews and automated testing
  • Work with operations teams to maintain deployment processes
  • Assist in documenting production support processes
  • Contribute to identifying and implementing improvements
  • Collaborate with senior developers to enhance skills
  • Stay current with industry best practices
  • Deliver high-quality code within given timelines
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Spring Framework: Familiarity with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC, is important for building robust and scalable Java applications. The candidate should be proficient in implementing security measures using Spring
  • Experience with SQL and Database Management Systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Java: The candidate should have advanced knowledge of the Java programming language, including core concepts, object-oriented programming (OOP), and Java frameworks
  • Knowledge of Java Persistence API (JPA): Understanding JPA and its implementation, such as Hibernate, is crucial for working with databases in Java applications. The candidate should be able to design and implement efficient data access layers using JPA
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is advantageous. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively in an Agile team, participate in sprint planning, and deliver high-quality software incrementally
  • Full stack developer with React JS, Java and Spring Boot expertise
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON: The candidate should have practical experience in working with RESTful APIs and handling JSON data. They should be able to seamlessly consume APIs, parse JSON responses, and integrate them into the application
  • Familiarity with React JS or other front end frameworks
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks: The candidate should have practical experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme to ensure the quality and reliability of React/React Native applications. They should be capable of writing comprehensive unit tests and performing integration testing
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using Git or other version control systems for code management and collaboration is necessary. The candidate should be comfortable with branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and following best practices for version control
  • Proven adequate problem-solving and debugging skills: The candidate should demonstrate adequate problem-solving abilities and possess skills in debugging Java and React applications. They should be capable of effectively analyzing and resolving complex issues
