Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – SQL Developer Support

In this role, you would be primary responsible for supporting and enhancing web application.

Responsibilities

·         Responsible for resolving technical issues for consumers, partners, clients, or internal stakeholders by addressing issues assigned to them through the ticketing systems using process specifications following operating procedures.

·         Collaborate with our data analysts and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and work to troubleshoot/enhance database structures and queries.

·         Write and optimize complex SQL queries.

·         Manage SQL code in a source control system.

·         Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements/Automation or new technologies.

·         Responsible for Debugging and implementing database performance monitoring and tuning.

·         Manage and resolve production incidents. Covers system outages, job failures, system defects, data defects and end user support.

·         Execute and manage day-to-day operations via ticketing tools and processes.

·         Ensure appropriate tool is updated in accordance with SLA specifications with case notes, status updates and case closure information.

·         Responsible to test the application features.

·         Lead/participate in SQL code reviews.

·         Provide technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.

·         Stay current with database and technologies and the direction of the general database industry.

·         Provide technical mentoring and coaching for junior and mid-level developers.

Qualifications

·         B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

·         Hands on experience in SQL programming, Debugging, Performance tuning, Database Design, Table schema and basic knowledge of database administration.

·         Strong Knowledge of creating packages, stored procedures, cursors, triggers, functions, joins, replication and modifying SQL scripts in Oracle.

·         Experience with database design, data modeling, and data warehousing.

• Strong knowledge in handling cloud hosted DB Model and schema.
• Strong knowledge in Normalization, Data Model (Logical, Physical).

·         Strong knowledge of Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts.

• Experience in database performance tuning.
• Knowledge on Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

·         Strong knowledge of PL/SQL is a must.

·         Should have basic knowledge ofUNIX environment.

·         Knowledge of ETL processes and tools will be an added advantage.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

·         Should have excellent communication skills to effectively interface with Client.
